Why choose Sound Results Entertainment?

Preparation and resources is the key! We provide you with editable music playlists ahead of time so you can see and listen to the actual songs that will be played on your day. If your event requires one, we will provide you with a digital timeline for you to edit to envision your special day before it happens. We have performed at most of the preferred venues in the central PA area already. We will always have back up equipment and music available for every event and another DJ on standby in case of an emergency. The business name is Sound Results Entertainment for 2 reasons. The more obvious one is: providing audio to you and your guests through the music being played, therefore the end result is sound. The second and more important reason is: when the word ‘sound’ is used before words like decision and investment, it implies excellent judgement. In other words, it’s a safe and sound choice! So a ‘sound result’ is the peace of mind you will receive from this entertainment company and we will make sure your day WILL be a success! If you still have doubts or concerns, remember, we are only a click or a phone call away at all times.

Who is the DJ? Will we meet him/her?

Andrew will be your initial point of contact whether it’s via phone, email or in person to confirm the date, DJ availability and explain the basics of the DJ services. Following that, we encourage a face to face meeting (if distance is an issue, FaceTime is an option) with the assigned DJ to discuss the event details, music choices.

How much experience do you have as a DJ?

Tell me about DJ etiquette and professionalism?

All of the DJs at Sound Results Entertainment understand after years of experience, the difference between the concert DJ and the wedding DJ. Allow me to explain – Some DJs entertain by having the spotlight on him/her. While that may be what a nightclub or concert manager wants, we like to keep the focus on you and your guests having a great time from beginning to the end. We do this by preparing music well in advance and putting together a timeline so we all know what’s happening on the day. In addition, we always like to introduce ourselves to the on site manger and other vendors we work alongside to help the event run smoothly by keeping lines of communication open. Our physical appearance will reflect the event or theme of the event. For instance, wedding attire would be black/grey suit pants, plain colored dress shirt and a tie and a vest/blazer depending on the weather.

How do I book and pay?

After you have decided on booking with us, you will receive an email with a digital agreement of services that will outline the chosen package, retainer paid, and remaining balance due. This contract will also have the DJs signature and yours on it, making it a binding agreement. Payment can be done via check made payable to Sound Results Entertainment LLC or we can send you an invoice with instructions on electronic payment.

Do you charge for travel, set up and tear down?

Sound Results Entertainment DJs are located in the Harrisburg/Mechanicsburg area and travel is included up to a 1 hour drive or 50 miles. Over this time or mileage, a travel fee is charged that is below the national per mile average. Equipment set up and tear down is included in the amount you have been quoted for the event.

What is your cancellation policy?

To preface this, please understand that once you have booked Sound Results Entertainment, the reserved date, timeframe for the event, and assigned DJ is officially yours which means we turn down other clients on multiple occasions that could have potentially booked. Season and date popularity has a lot to do with this.

If you choose to cancel your event more than 6 months beforehand, we only keep the retainer fee.  Any money you have paid beyond this this will be returned to you.  Less than 6 months, but more than 5, you will be responsible for 50% of the contract value which includes the retainer fee.  Less than 5 months but more than 4, you will be responsible for 55% of the contract value which includes the retainer fee.  Less than 4 months but more than 3, you will be responsible for 65% of the contract value which includes the retainer fee.  Less than 3 months but more than 2, you will be responsible for 75% of the contract value which includes the retainer fee. Less than 2 months but more than 1, you will be responsible for 85% of the contract value which includes the retainer fee.  Less than 1 month, you will be responsible for 95% of the contract value which includes the retainer fee.

If the event gets cancelled due to circumstances beyond the client’s control, for example life threatening weather, life threatening disease outbreak or other acts of God, Sound Results Entertainment will allow for an event postponement only without any penalty fee up to 2 years from the original date, for services up to the original contract value. If there is an emergency on Sound Results Entertainment’s end, we will provide a replacement DJ for you.  If for seriously extenuating circumstances, Sound Results Entertainment cannot provide their services, you will be refunded all money paid minus the 20% retainer fee. Any repayment will be paid over a maximum 12 month period with no set payment schedule.

Do you carry insurance?

Yes. All of our DJ’s and equipment are fully covered. A copy of the insurance certificate is available upon request.
